According to CDC, one in every six adults in America has high blood cholesterol. 20% of youth aged 12-19 years have at least one abnormal lipid level. Anyone, regardless of age, can develop high cholesterol. High cholesterol increases the risk of heart disease, diabetes and high blood pressure.

Take a look at this screenshot taken from CDC’s website on cholesterol and arteries:

Too much cholesterol occurs because of the food we eat and the rate at which our body breaks down cholesterol. Just as there are foods that lead us to the path of high cholesterol, there is food and nutrition that help us lower cholesterol.

Here are 5 foods and nutrition to fight high cholesterol:

One: Oats
The soluble fiber found in oats is important for lowering cholesterol. Old-fashioned, steel cut or stone-ground oats are rich in fiber, protein and other nutrients. It is an easy and cheap way to getting started for fighting high cholesterol. Imagine adding fruits like strawberries, blueberries and bananas or add nuts to your daily intake of oatmeal in the morning. You will increase your fiber intake, which can bind the cholesterol and help release it as waste in our digestive system.

Two: Beans and lentils
Another food group with rich soluble fiber are beans and lentils. A diet rich in beans and lentils instead of fatty red meat will help lower cholesterol. Beans like black beans, pinto, garbanzo, kidney or red beans and various green and yellow lentils are good sources of protein too.

Three: Young Living’s ImmuPro
ImmuPro provides the benefits of NingXia Red in the convenience of a delicious fruit-flavored chewable supplement. It helps maintain cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range.

Four: Lemongrass oil and NingXia Red
Add 10 drops of Lemongrass oil to a capsule and take it every morning with NingXia Red superfruit drink. Here is a testimonial from Dixie S. about how her husband lowered his cholesterol with Lemongrass oil and NingXia Red:

My husband, Bob, has always had high cholesterol results in his company physicals, usually near 275. It has been recommended to him that he should take allopathic medication for his cholesterol.

For one month, he drank one ounce of NingXia Red and took one capsule of ten drops of YLEO lemongrass every morning. After 30 days, his live blood analysis contained far less 'bad' cholesterol. Six months later, his cholesterol was near 200 during his regular company physical.

More testimonials about NingXia Red and lowering cholesterol from Norman N:

My 61-year-old father was hospitalized for a TIA (mini-stroke) last December. While in the hospital he got the results from the Lipid Panel and it revealed a Triglyceride level of 422 (normal <150 mg/dl) and total Cholesterol of 239 (normal <200 mg/dl). He refused certain medications to help him and started taking Ningxia Red. One ounce a day for 3 months. His blood work was repeated then and showed Triglyceride level of 238 mg/dl (almost cut in half) and Total Cholesterol of 228 mg/dl. Today is Triglycerides are 130 mg/dl and Total Cholesterol is 178 mg/dl. He changed his diet and exercises more and never goes a day without his Ningxia Red.

Five: Clove oil
Clove has been used to enhance the flavor of foods and is known to have immune-enhancing properties. It is also known to lower cholesterol when ingested. Here is a testimonial from Carol S about ingesting Clove oil:

I had heard that using 4 drops of Clove and 4 drops of Lemongrass in a capsule taken internally, twice a day would help to lower cholesterol.

I did that for exactly 30 days and then had my blood levels checked. The LDL reading went from 180 to 166!

I'm going to now up my dosages to 6 drops of each of the above oils twice a day. Thank you YLEO and Gary Young!

nutrition to keep you youngYou are what you eat. Years of eating salty or fat induced snacks and feasting on processed meat and fast food will not only cost you your health, it will also make you lose your youthful look.

The secret is out….there are ways to bring the fountain of youth back by adding certain food and nutrition into your grocery shopping cart.

Here is our list:

One: NingXia Red
NingXia Red is filled with antioxidant to support your body from head to toe. It is a super blend of blueberry, aronia, cherry, pomegranate and plum juices, orange, yuzu, lemon and tangerine essential oils, natural stevia extract, grape seed extract and vanilla extract. This nutrient-dense fruit drink has five key benefits to our total health that will help us stay young, energized and revitalized.

It gives long-lasting energy, contributes to agility, longevity and vitality. The wolfberries provide us with energy without the crashes and harmful side effects like energy drinks.

NingXia Red delivers vitamins, minerals, carotenoids and phytonutrients to enhance healthy eyes. The amount of antioxidant found in NingXia Red’s combination of blueberries, grape seed extract, aronia and pomegranate are able to give us a full-body protection and help defend against damage caused by free radicals.

As studies show, antioxidants are essential for staying and looking young. Rosita S. shared about her results with NingXia Red:

I began drinking 2-3 ounces daily, not really expecting dramatic results, but knowing I was doing something that would pay off in the long run.

Within two weeks of drinking it I realized that I no longer felt the dead tired feeling I have had since I was a teenager! I have never been energetic, even though I live a busy and productive life. Finally I was experiencing normal tiredness when I didn't sleep well or after chasing around my 2 year old grand daughter, but not the awful dead feeling I had known for too long!

Since this discovery I have not gone a day without Ningxia Red! I never want to return to my previous way of feeling! I think that the high fiber content is keeping my blood sugar steady throughout the day, but regardless of WHY it's working, I am so thankful and I LOVE my daily Ningxia Red!

Two: Mediterranean diet
The Mediterranean diet is rich in olive oil, seafood, whole grains, yogurt, fruits, vegetables and nuts. It has a lot of plant-based products and is high in fiber.

Olive oil contains flavonoids and polyphenols, a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory property which helps prevent diseases like cancer and heart disease. Extra-virgin olive oil is known to be a good fat.

The fish found in Mediterranean diet provides omega-3-fatty acids needed for our body’s cells and protect us from inflammation. Walnuts not only provide omega-3 fats, they also contain protein and alpha linoleic acid that may help reduce inflammation in arteries. Fish and nuts are good for our skin because omega-3 fatty acids helps preserve the collagen that keeps skin firm.

Three: Essentialzyme- 4 and Life 5
It is important to maintain good pH in our stomach by having intestinal flora and enzymes.

Essentialzyme-4 is a multi-spectrum enzyme complex to aid digestion of dietary fats, proteins, fiber and carbohydrates. This dual time-release technology animal and plant based enzyme releases at separate times within the digestive tract, allowing us to have optimal nutrient absorption. It can eliminate toxic waste from the body.

Life 5 is a high-potency probiotic we need to build and restore core intestinal health. This probiotic enhances our intestinal health, sustains energy and improves immunity.
